Our Annual Events
In 2020 we missed our annual gatherings! In 2021 we hope to change that!
Church Picnic: Often at Rumsey Park, we gather for the Eucharistic service and stay for hot dogs and hamburgers, lots of conversation, and an enjoyable afternoon in the pleasant Payson weather.
Thanksgiving Dinner: Invite your family and friends and celebrate all those things for which we are thankful. Normally a week before the actual Thanksgiving, it is a time for turkey and all the trimmings with plenty of desserts, good wine, and a chance to catch up with one another!
Mardi Gras Party: Bring on the Cajun! This event is held sometime near Fat Tuesday, but before Lent. The community is invited for an evening of good food with friends and neighbors.
Oktoberfest: German beer and food is the highlight of this event! In the cool Payson weather it is a treat to sit with friends and chat about the nice fall weather and all the things happening in the community.
The Ladies of St. Paul focus on outreach to the community and the support of a Compassion child. They are well known for their Artisan Bread sales and are foundational supporters for many activities at St. Paul’s.
St. Paul’s Active Men invites all men to participate in activities from service to fellowship lunches. The group will be reformed in 2021.
The Quilting Group has sewed oand given away over 500 quilts over the years. Each quit is blessed and prayed over and passed along to an individual in difficult times. Participation is open to everyone, even those without sewing skills!
